Holdem

Almost all popular poker variations are played with a common 52 card deck and any poker table may seat from 2 to 10 poker players. The game begins with two poker players making the blind bets. After that two cards are dealt face-down to each poker player in the game, these cards are known as hole cards. In Pre-flop betting the player immediately next after the big blind is to make bet first. This player may quit the play or stay in the hand, if he/she chooses to stay the big blind is called or raised. If there were no raises or re-raises pre-flop action finishes by the “big blind” gambler that can choose to check, call the raise if needed, and re-raise. The round of betting is over after all gamblers post the equal amount to the pot.

In Flop three community cards are dealt on the board. The poker players check up their hands and start new round. This is followed with the Turn and River, during which two community cards are drawn one after another. Every card deal is followed by betting. All five community cards on the board may be used by all the players to form their hands. The gambler with the best hand in accordance with the regular poker hand rankings wins the pot. When two hands tie, in this case the pot is divided. As the game betting poker rule states in Hold’em the players may play the board which means that they may use all community cards to form their hands.

Hold’em with the No-Limit structure is the most popular poker version. Not like in the other games the gamblers are permitted to wager as much as they wish at any point. That’s why All-in is available in this game. It means that the player may wager all money he/she has. Of course, it is quite risky but most experienced gamblers prefer No-Limit Holdem poker as the best chance to apply their skills and win much more.

Omaha is played in the number of rounds that are the pre-flop, the flop, turn and river. In the showdown the hands are revealed and the pot is awarded. The one difference of Omaha game version is that instead of two hole cards the players receive four hidden cards two of which they have to use in their five cards hand. As a result only three of the community cards can be used to create the hand. The other betting poker rule of two games doesn’t differ much.

Seven-Card Stud

According to the general betting poker rule Seven Card Stud Poker starts with the ante bets posting. Then every gambler gets three cards, two - face-down and one - face-up. The second cards dealing is one face up card which is followed by round of betting. This is repeated two times until the last card occurs face-down. As a result during the game each player is dealt three face down and four exposed cards and any five of them may be used to form the gambler’s hand. The rankings of the poker hands in Seven-Card Stud are the same like in Texas Holdem and Omaha poker. In fact these poker hand rankings are the standard. In some game versions Joker and Five of a Kind are used.

Caribbean Stud Poker

In Caribbean Stud poker the gamblers try to beat the dealer’s hand. In accordance with the betting poker rule the game action begins with the ante bets placing. The gamblers then are given five face-down cards. The dealer receives five card too however one of these cards is dealt exposed. The poker players decide what their chances are and whether it is better to give up the hand or continue to play. In order to continue the play the player is to wager, that in fact means that the poker player raises since he or she bets the amount which is equal to the ante bet. To win the gambler’s poker hand must beat the dealer’s one, moreover, the dealer’s poker hand must qualify. It means to hold King and Ace or better. If the dealer does not qualify the poker player is paid even money while his or her raise wager is pushed.
